When Fate’s Twisted Circle and The Other Side of the Flip was published, C.A. McJack disregarded her English Professor advice to never make a living as a writer. From mortally wounded English papers dripping with red ink, sighing their last breath in her college professor’s hand, she inadvertently landed her first writing assignment (albeit commanded) working as a photojournalist for the Fort Hood Sentential Newspaper in the early 1990s. She holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from the University of South Florida and an Associates in Aviation Applied Science from Broomfield, Colorado. She joined the US Army shortly after graduating from college, working as a flight line avionics technician, and continued working in the civilian sector for over 15 years. During that time, she found her second passion in home design as a real estate investor and remodeler.
This in turn led to her self-help book, The Other Side of the Flip, on what to expect as a house-flipper and a landlord in the city of Wichita, Kansas, but is still applicable to other parts of the nation for those novices to intermediate real estate investors. She presents not just the good but the bad that comes with working in this profession.
Seward Bound, her most recent fictional novel, focuses in on the adventures of a young female war veteran who decides to take another chance on making a living and a home on the edge of the Alaskan wilderness. She not only learns more aviation skills but ends up finding love and a new family.
Other books include 2 coloring books, The Tale of One-Eyed Willie (an Americanize Irish Dirty Ditty) and I Will Always… (a children’s book).
Where I spin visual art into colorful and remarkable tales.
